Why bother to seek wellness?

Finding wellness can be a challenge. Making healthier lifestyle choices requires time, effort, and perseverance. So why bother to seek wellness?

This week I’m honored and blessed to be guest posting on two different author friends’ blogs. Both messages focus on the benefits of wellness and healthy lifestyle choices.

Joanna Eccles, in Words from the Honeycomb features, “When Challenged, do we persist, adapt, or give up?” In a sneak preview here, I share some reasons why a healthier lifestyle offers such powerful benefits for us.

Why we seek wellness

Why seek a healthier, more active lifestyle? Two benefits are: a healthier, stronger heart and a better quality of life. But there are many more positive benefits besides these two! You can click on this link to learn about those healthy benefits.

More benefits of healthier lifestyle choices

You can also visit Candyce Carden’s website and catch another wellness message, “Walk with Jesus.” Scripture tells us about the active lifestyle Jesus led, but the diet of the culture He lived in also had great benefits for the people of His time.

Each of these wellness messages reminds us of the significant benefits of a healthy lifestyle for our longevity and quality of life. Both authors are also offering readers an opportunity to receive a copy of Honoring God with My Body: Journey to Wellness and a Healthy Lifestyle. This book, released earlier this month by Morgan James Publishing, shares practical advice, achievable goals, and encouragement to guide those seeking a healthier lifestyle.

Wishing you joy and encouragement on the journey!
